preview of the answer…

When parents are involved in educating their children, there is a possibility that both the parents and children will benefit. Increased parent participation in a child’s schooling enhances a child’s self-esteem, improves the academic achievement of a child, strengthens parent-child relationship, increases parent understanding of the education process, and enables parents to have a positive attitude towards school.
