Literature: Fairytales Homework

One of the most famous stories of all–Cinderella.

Choose one part of one of the Cinderella stories (not the whole story) and offer an opinion on what you think that part meant–give a specific example from the story that backs up your theory. Not the whole story, but one part of it–for example: the tree in the Grimm version. Or what do the birds mean, but all the way through that story.

Cinderella, as narrated by Grimm brothers, is a favorite tale. Even though the most version of the tale is shown in the film animated by Disney, the original version of the tale is quite elaborate. The excellent moral story that the authors were trying to pass to the audience is that good will always triumph evil. Even in situations that people think it would be impossible. It begins with Cinderella from the death of her mother who is quickly replaced by an evil stepmother with two daughters. They talk cruelly to Cinderella and even make her do all house chores. “What is this useless creature doing in the best room?” asked the stepmother “Away to the kitchen with her! And if she wants to eat, then she must earn it. She can be our maid” (Tatar, 2017)…….
