Definition and elements of a logic model

As explained by Posavac (2011), a logic model refers to a flowchart or a planning tool that summarizes the main elements of a given program. These may include the resources, activities, outputs, intermediate and end outcomes that the program aims to achieve. A logic model should be in a position to identify other key factors that the program staffs are not able to control, but are likely to influence achievement of the set outcomes.
