Macbeth as Tragedy

Shakespeare’s Macbeth is often considered one of literature’s greatest tragedies and is said to reveal much about human nature. Do you agree or disagree that the play conveys much about humanity or about the human experience? What, if anything, does the work suggest about human beings or society? In Shakespeare’s play of Macbeth the main theme is human nature whereby the author intricately displays this in a rather intriguing way. He displays Macbeth at the beginning of the story as a wounded man at the camp but despite this unfortunate scenario he is perceived to be consumed by his ambition. He becomes elated by the fact that he is going to become king.
