MBWA is a business management style where the manager wanders around the workplace in a random, unstructured manner to inspect the progress of the employees as well as the status of the work in progress (Vänje & Brännmark, 2017). An essential way for the manager to connect with the employees is getting up from the office desk and walk around the working area of the employee talking with them, asking them some questions and addressing some of the needs they could be having.
