The assigned video delves into the global content marketing strategy that is being pursued by MasterCard as it aims to increase its dominance in the global market place. In the recent past, MasterCard has created a position of Vice President of Content Marketing Strategy. The position was created after the realization that the corporation was not utilizing all the content that it possessed across different platforms. In the past, MasterCard has not been able to connect consumers across the world in a personal and authentic manner. Inability to merge content by the company across different platforms meant that MasterCard was not able to leap the benefits of such an integration.
