As stated by McGinniss (2012), the murder case involving McDonald is amongst the most complex and disturbing cases in history. McDonald was believed to have killed his wife using a knife and a club, and later on injured himself to make the crime appear as the work of strangers/intruders. From the available information on McDonald’s murder case, I strongly believe that many errors were made.
