The Meaning and Use of a Request for Proposal (RFP) in Government Contracting

You made references to the RFP.  Specifically, you stated “the proposal development would need to address each section in reference to the Request for Proposal (RFP)”. Can you explain that term and when it is used in the procurement process?  How does this differ from the IFB?
