For This Essay, you will be required to review a visual text; specifically, you will be evaluating a movie. You will be required to choose a film from the list below, watch the movie and write a review the either recommends or discourages your audience from consuming the text them selves. In order to successfully review the text of your choosing you will have to take a position on that movie, support the position with specific examples from the movie, and provide the reader with an explanation of why the various components of the film make it clear as to whether or not the movie is worth their time. These explanations should be based on reasons that you establish for the reader, such as the plot, the characters, the acting, the special effect, story line, etc. All of these should tie to the thesis. Either you are with the movie or against it.
