The human anatomy is made up of an array of tissues, all of which function to ensure the ease in the performance of different body functions. While the nervous tissue is responsible for sensory and response functions, the muscle tissue is responsible for movement in the various parts of the human anatomy. Consequently, these two tissues work in tandem to ensure that man achieves the various physiological needs, without which the body function would be significantly affected. The two types of tissues are further divisible into different types based on the functions and locations of each. However, it is worth noting that the nervous system controls the muscle tissue system, without which appropriate body responses would be impossible.
