I did not know that one of the major health concerns in Detroit state is low birth weight rate. It affects the weight of new born babies and some of them may require special healthcare. One of the problems is respiratory problems where the babies lack surfactant which helps in keeping the small air sacs from collapsing. Their brains may bleed severely causing brain damage. The babies may have jaundice making their skins and eyes look yellow. This condition…………..
