Modern architecture evolved from the revolution that began at the start of twentieth century and resulted in a variety of design innovations, use of discarded medieval concepts and materials, and introduction of built spaces that conforms to environmental standards. The current crop of architects are mostly trained on the concept of modernity so as to sustain the gains of the efforts of the revolutionaries that transformed all facets of the architectural landscape[i]. Although the founders of modern architecture have extensive knowledge of all aspects of historic built environment styles, they refuse to allow the current generations of architects to benefit from this information, since they were removed from their training programs.
