In the United States, the federal government is charged with the responsibility of coming up with security forces that are supposed to ensure that the citizens are protected at all times. However, there are instances where nongovernmental security forces are appointed to deal with some of the security issues in the country. Doing this is aimed at increasing community policing in the country since some of the governmental security forces may at times be overwhelmed with providing the needed security services to the whole country.
