One-group Designs

A one-group design is a type of experimental design in which the subjects are not assigned any specific conditions (Jackson, S2011). The implication of this is that unlike most experiments that involve control groups ad experimental groups, one-group designs involve one subject group. This single group of participants is observed for a given dependent variable. However, the investigator may choose to introduce a set of independent variables among the subjects (Posavac, 2011).
