Bulimia Nervosa is an eating disorder characterized by durations of rampant eating followed by different ways of purging to cover up for the overeating (Fichter , 2001). The methods used in purging include use of laxatives, intensive exercise and even inducing vomiting to mitigate weight gain and console an individual emotionally.
