QUANTITATIVE STUDY EVALUATION

Locate an article from the peer-reviewed, scholarly journals in your field using one of the databases available in the Capella Library. This article should be no more than five years old and report on an empirical quantitative study. The article may be related to the topic you have selected for your final course paper. Use the study activities and the annotated Quantitative Study Evaluation Template to evaluate the study in your journal article. My topic is cyber-bullying vs school bullying and to show where is there a lack of literature. Such as parents not having guidelines on how to deal with it, are there cultural differences in how it is handled, or what happens to the school counselor’s responsibility to it once the children leave school grounds. Cyberbullying in the contemporary society has grown to become an issue of primary concern primarily because it is a modernized approach to the traditional cases of bullying. The universal nature of the cyberspace makes it even harder to track cases of bullying incidences, which necessitates a keen approach to research on how well the contemporary society could effectively deal with the issue. Of all the possible ways of understanding any problem, it is always appropriate to begin its analysis by determining the perspectives from which the people affected view a particular issue. In this case, children are the most affected parties in incidences of cyberbullying, and their parents play a secondary role in addressing the issues, which implies that an analysis of the problem should have the parents and children as the primary subjects of focus.
