I was surprised that Jody’s right hemisphere of her brain was removed at a very young age. Epileptic seizures that originated from her brain’s right hemisphere since her birth led to violent fits and her doctors did not have any other option apart from removing it. Her brain was incredibly capable of re-inventing itself and allowed the left hemisphere to take some of the functions of the right hemisphere…………………
