In my opinion, pornography is a social vice that results in numerous adverse effects on the individual, family, and the entire society, all of which lead to massive destruction of the social connectedness among people, especially couples and family members. The argument about the destructive nature of pornography is first justified by the fact that the visual impact created on the people by pornographic content tends to create unrealistic imaginations, some of which are wilder than any sexual experience between couples. As a result, participants of pornography may be tempted to venture into extra-marital affairs in a bid to get life experiences of what they learned from the pornography. Due to its nature, pornography is highly addictive. This implies that the people who participate in the vice tend to develop fondness to the habit, thus denying their partners and families the right level of attention. This threatens to break their marriages and families. It is also critical to note that pornography tends to result in sexual gratification for some individuals.
