Quantitative Research Question and Methods

Quantitative Research Question and Methods

For this assessment you will craft a quantitative research question based on the hospital-acquired condition you selected for the Research Problem and Purpose Statements, as well as examine quantitative methodologies and data collection strategies that would enable you to answer your research question. There is no length requirement for this assessment. Most submissions that fully address all scoring guide criteria will be 2 to 5 pages in length.

SCORING GUIDE MUST BE FOLLOWED TO THE LETTER

Answer preview……….

In the research proposal problem identification, the timely removal of catheters was presented as the most effective prevention of CA-UTI, which is a hospital-acquired infection (HAI). However, more research is required to find out whether the early removal of catheters is safe and also promotes better prevention from UTIs. In this quantitative research approach, a randomized quasi-experimental study of patients will be performed to ascertain the effects of early or timely removal of catheters. The research question will be based on a causative model of research as will the research design. The aim of this section of the paper is to outline how an effective quantitative research will be conducted to outline the effects of early catheter removal as a means of preventing UTIs………..
