Reflection #3: Discuss the “fall of man” myths from the various religions, and the “updated” myth we covered in class. What is each myth trying to communicate? State some of your own beliefs about evil and the role of humans in creating evil. Why was the focus on Eve more than Adam? Write your own myth if you would like to.

A myth is a traditional story that explains a certain natural or social occurrence. Typically, different myths implicate supernatural events and humans. There are different myths that are associated with different religions, such as Christianity, Judaism, Islam, and Hinduism, among others. One of the myths articulated by these religions is the “fall of man” myth. This paper seeks to discuss the myth of “fall of man” as analyzed by different religions, the beliefs that I have in relation to evil, and explore why the focus was more on Eve than Adam…….
