Meaning of Concepts. China. Century of unequal treaties refers to the periods where there was a signing of the treaties with the western powers and where the actions of the western powers were a threat to the military. The analysis of the concepts in the treaty would mean there is focus on the forces that help in the management of the relations with other foreign countries. Focusing on the treaty meant the analysis of the unequal powers of the west countries and the inferiority created that would lead to the change in the responses of the Chinese powers. The treaty would look at the opening up of trade opportunities and the analysis of the different territories. The focus on the number of defeats by the military helped in focusing in the change in the society and the signing that would open up negotiations with other countries. The unequal treaties focused on the resentment of the Chinese and this led to the development of demands that would enhance the usage of the Chinese systems and the development of powerful changes……………..
