The paralegal could use the online legal dictionary and encyclopedia Wex of Cornell University Law School as the primary source because it gives firsthand evidence about copyright issues in music production through the customized searches (Cornell Law School, 2018). The law school website article, Music as a Matter of Law by Joseph P. Fishman, has information on copyright law that provides is the secondary source in this case because Primary sources provide the original underpinnings for other related research such as that which is in the article, Music as a Matter of Law by Joseph P. Fishman (Fishman, 2018). Therefore, the writer, Joseph P. Fishman uses the facts in the online legal dictionary and outlined laws to support his arguments and his recommendations.
