John Quincy Adams is considered one of the prominent figure in the USA politics and also an American statesman who served in various administrations. In addition to the student post at one time he served as the secretary of states to President James Monroe administration, and he can also be remembered as an individual who helped in the negotiation of the Adams-Onis Treaty which led to the United States acquiring Florida as one of its States from Spain. As the student has pointed out at one Point John Quincy was elected as the USA president who many underrated his leadership, but it can also be considered that up to know there is no President in the USA who elected by the House of Representatives after no candidate won the majority of the electoral vote. One of the achievements of John Quincy was that being a Federalist, he was able to work and supported the Democratic-Republican ideas and beliefs and helped in the passage of Embargo Act as the student has explained.
