Responding to the Instructor

I need a help in homework of MYTH AND LITERATURE class. The homework is an online discussion and it’s 2 parts. First part, due Mar 1 at 10 am, you have to response to a question and the answer needs to be at least 3 well developed paragraphs and thoroughly address all aspects of the question. After that, will be evaluated by the instructor and comments and suggestions will be added. Second part, will post after Mar 4 and due in 2 days, you can add comments to to make changes to your original post if desired AND make a AT LEAST ONE REQUIRED response to another student’s discussion post. Considering the concepts discussed in lecture and text why do you think Ares is shown as the representative of bloodlust and not courage in war or military strategy? What does his character reveal about Greek attitudes toward warfare and performance on the battlefield? You should also utilize the lecture on “The Iliad” as well in your response, especially the section on the Heroic Model.

Ares was considered the bloodlust deity which made the Greek warriors eloquence and courage to participate in the war. Due to the god hungry for bloodshed he made the warriors courageous in battles where they made sure they had to fight their enemies and shed their blood for their God Ares. The courage that the warriors of the Trojan War also enabled them to defeat and kill their enemies to ensure that their god Ares has enough blood to celebrate. The bloodlust of Ages also persuaded many warriors to engage in war as the action will also have the benefit to the Ages as it would make him satisfied……….
