- The subjective complaint and all relevant history as it pertains to the patient’s age and developmental status
- Findings from an objective exam as it pertains to the complaint, age, and the patient’s developmental status
- An assessment that includes your diagnosis and any differential diagnosis that you considered
- A treatment plan that details the patient education, orders, prescriptions and a follow-up plan that is appropriate for the patient’s age and developmental status
Write a reflection on the patient encounter that includes:
- Questions or challenges you faced
- An evidence-based rationale for the recommended treatment
- Considerations for patients seeking complementary and/or alternative medicine, including naturopathic options
- Whether this patient is appropriate to be seen in a retail clinic and if follow-up information can be provided through telehealth communication. Explain your reasoning.
