In today’s criminal justice system, numerous critical issues affect the police. They include organized crime, gangs, excessive police force, community policing, and white-collar crime (Brown, 2012).
Organized Crime
As explained by Brown (2012), organized crime refers to a national, transnational, or local grouping that comprise of highly centralized enterprises controlled and operated by criminals who engage in illegal activities for monetary gains.
