Interpersonal Skills in the Workplace

Interpersonal skills are crucial to effective cooperation and contribute directly to individual and corporate success in a business. For our first week together I want you to do three things in this Weekly Insight.

  1. Share your name and most recent work experience, i.e. where and what you did.
  2. Share an example of how interpersonal skills were effectively used by yourself, a co-worker, or manager to promote cooperation and productivity.
  3. Share an example of how interpersonal skills were used poorly by yourself, a co-worker, or manager and what consequences occurred as a result.
