Shortage and unequal distribution of healthcare providers is among the issues in healthcare workforce today especially in rural and poor settings. Offering healthcare services to a population of more than thirty million individuals will require implementation of appropriate health policies. Such policies may deal with retention of physicians. My workforce has responded to the shortage of physicians by offering quality basic needs and accommodation to rural physicians to encourage them to stay in rural facilities.
