The short-term significance of economic and social revolutions during the Baroque period is understood by looking at the numerous changes witnessed in different fields (such as culture and music) that helped to differentiate between renaissance and classical era. The long-term significance included the expansion of middle class and the spread of industrialization. The short-term significance of the social and economic revolutions during the enlightenment included the establishment of reforms that sought to eradicate unreasonable beliefs such as the existence of unequal social classes.
