My idea – launch a food locker service for restaurants and customers. The delivery services such as Uber Eats, Grubhub are taking 15% for pick up order to 30% for delivery. While these services are greatly reducing businesses profit margin, they also charge 15% of the order to delivery to the customers.
The food locker service would charge $1 for the restaurant, and $1 for the customers. It consist of a mobile app, and a food locker. Restaruant is responsible to the cleanliness and maintain the food locker. Customer will order food via mobile app, restaurant will prepare the order and put it inside the food locker. The app will notify the customers their order is ready to pick up
