Teaching Portfolio

Students will be required to submit a Teaching Portfolio that includes the following components:

  • A Personal Statement that includes their philosophy of teaching and goals for the next 3-5 years
  • An Assessment of their Skills and Values
  • An Updated Resume or Curriculum Vita
  • Assessment Strategies
  • Classroom Management Strategies
  • Efforts for Improvement
  • Professional Development (workshops, conferences, certificates, etc.)
  • Personal Reflections on Teaching
  • Resources for Effective Teaching
  • Sample Lesson Plans
