The Supreme Court of the United States (2017) report shows that all justices have lots of law-related education and extensive judicial experiences having previously held positions in federal, state, and local government, as well as in the private sector. Most the US justices were past fifty years of age at the time of their presidential nominations, having practiced law for at least twenty years.
