Two lessons stand out from this case study; first is that a nation can stabilize its population growth without the direct intervention of family planning and second is that soap operas can have profound effect on a nation’s population growth. Why? Brazil has been mentioned as the fifth largest country in terms of population growth with a record of 2013 million people.
