Virtues are crucial in any work because they allow equality and workplace values to thrive. Therefore, specifically identifying the virtues that fit a particular position is one effective way of increasing efficiency and the delivery of better services to the public. I would like to be a manager and this role comes with a lot of responsibility. As a manager, I will be in charge of other people and resources. Therefore, I will not only be in the position of responsibility but also a position of leadership whereby people will be looking up to me. In a position of power and control, ethics becomes essential because justice and transparency are sought from people in such positions. Therefore, the virtues that come with a managerial position include responsibility and fairness.
