Virtualization allows the administrator or the IT manager to run a virtual machine directly on the user’s device. Type I and Type II virtualization enables the system administrator or whoever that is assigned that responsibility to achieve this objective. A similarity between Type I and Type I virtual environments is that they both allow the operation of a complete virtual on a local user’s system without interfering with the locally-installed operating system. Also, they allow the local client to use all the resources of the virtual machine including application software without the need for local installation. In a Type I environment, the virtual machine is total independent of the local OS since it uses the hardware of the host and monitors all OS that works above it. Also, the relatively small size of the virtual machine limits its task to distributing and managing hardware utilities between various operating systems.
