Validity seeks to identify whether the procedures used to collect data are accurate and able to provide accurate information. Reliability aims at identifying whether similar results can be recorded on repeated observations of a similar event or condition. Carton & Hofer (2006) add that using a wide range of variables reduces the possibility corrupting a variable or hindering effective operation
