After reading chapter 6, “Independent Learning,” select one of the areas (fluency, background knowledge / wide reading, independent writing, or vocabulary) you would like to explore further. Read, listen to, and watch the provided supplemental information. Each topic includes an article, blog post, a podcast episode, or a video on the topic. Then answer the questions in the attached Google Doc.
