What is your personal definition of the term “diversity?” How did you arrive at that definition? How diverse is your community and workplace? What is the number one factor, in your opinion, that drives our definition of diversity, and attitudes surrounding diversity?
This should get us off and running! Please remember that in this class, we may very well discover and explore topics that are “hot buttons, triggers, or controversial.” I expect us all to remain respectful and deal with these topics with an open mind.
Essay answers will be graded on both content and writing skill. All essays and projects should be typed, double spaced, with your name and page numbers present. Don’t forget to add a Bibliography or References page if applicable. Points will be awarded based on the following rubric:
