Women in Hip Hop

Sexuality is an issue related to women in hip-hop and social change. Provide a historical overview of the issue, analyze the problem, reasons the problem exists, what role society plays in conflict and culture, and develop an action plan to resolve the problem.

Music videos are a staple in the music industry as they provide the opportunity for recording companies to promote new songs and artists. Despite this, a vital part of the pop culture, particularly rap videos, have come under criticism in the past because of their controversial and negative representation of women.
