Susan Brownell Anthony was an American woman born on 15th February 1820 and died on March 13th 1906. She is considered a role model to women because of the critical role she played Women’s Suffrage Movement. Having been born in the Quaker family which at the time were known to be staunch believers of equality, she began advocating for equality in the society just at the age of 17. At this time, she began collected petitions against slavery which she viewed to violate human rights and equality. Her efforts to stop slavery led to her chairing New York’s agent for the Anti-slavery society in America.
