In the recent past, many juvenile offenders in the criminal justice system have been adjudicated in adult courts. Such a situation has led to many questions over the need for juvenile courts in the criminal justice system of the country. Some suggest that these courts only increase expenses for the justice system since adult courts can handle the criminal offences that have been conducted by minors in the community. I think the juvenile court system should not be abolished. Abolishing it would mean that all offenders regardless of their age would be heard in adult courts (Klein, 2016). Adult courts have been set up in such a manner that they cannot address the health and welfare of the people in society. One of the main reasons is based on the fact that these courts have been established to rehabilitate children who have committed certain offences……………
