Critical Review Paper
Students will write a 1,000-word critical review of a research article that attached . At the
top of your paper, use the APA Stylebook format to cite the title, author(s) and journal
information. Within the body of your paper, note the topic(s) examined, research
questions and/or hypotheses, methodology, findings, conclusions and implications for
media industries. The paper should represent your ability to synthesize material included
in the article with information contained in at least two of the class readings. All papers
must be typed, or they will lose points. Papers turned in after the date and time they are
due will lose 10 points, immediately, and an additional 5 points each day thereafter.
Only typed papers are acceptable. Use double-spaced, 12-pt., Times New Roman font in
a Word doc. or docx. format. The American Psychological Association (APA) is the
preferred style book format for this course.
