Columbia UP, 2005);
This commentary (approximately 1000 words) should be precise and concise, in
providing substantial arguments about how the films go after (appropriate and
respond to) the empires – Japanese colonialism, Chinese cinema or Nationalist
Party’s film policy, and Hollywood film industry or world market.
