Introduction. Henry David Thoreau was a philosopher as well as a transcendentalist who is greatly known for his piece of civil disobedience, as well as his book Walden. He had started with the writing of poems with his friend Emerson his mentor who was also a poet. Emerson helped him a great deal even in publishing his first works. At some point, he lived with Emerson, and he got to learn a lot from him. Once he had established himself, he then builds a home in Walden Pond, which was in a property owned by Emerson. In the following two years, he was inspired………….
